Working with Our Partners
Collaboration is key to our success at Alliance for a Living Ocean. We proudly partner with local businesses, nonprofits, and community groups who share our passion for protecting and preserving Long Beach Island’s environment. Together, we amplify our impact and create meaningful change.
Some of our valued partners include Wally’s LBI, Surfrider Foundation New Jersey, Jetty Rock Foundation, Harvey Cedars Sunset Slam, Swell Colors, and the Joint Taxpayers Association. Through these partnerships, we co-host events, support conservation initiatives, and engage diverse audiences in our mission to protect the bay and shoreline.
By working hand-in-hand with community leaders and organizations, we build a stronger, united front to ensure a healthy, thriving ocean for generations to come.
Jetty Rock Foundation
As a fellow advocate for environmental stewardship, the Jetty Rock Foundation has partnered with us on numerous impactful events, including beach cleanups and awareness campaigns. Their support empowers local action and helps amplify our shared commitment to preserving the natural beauty of Long Beach Island.
Surfrider Foundation: Jersey Shore Chapter
We proudly collaborate with Surfrider Foundation on coastal cleanups and dune grass planting efforts across LBI. Their mission to protect and enjoy the world’s oceans aligns seamlessly with ours, and together we've engaged the public in hands-on conservation work that strengthens our shoreline and community.
SwellColors Glass Studio & Gallery
SwellColors has been a creative and committed supporter of ALO through our Recycle Your Surfboard initiative. Their team transforms retired surfboards into stunning works of art, helping to reduce waste and inspire sustainability through upcycled design. It's a perfect blend of environmental awareness and local artistry.
Wally’s LBI
Wally’s LBI has been a committed partner in our mission to protect and preserve our local beaches. Together, we’ve organized multiple beach cleanups that bring the community together to make a tangible impact. With Wally’s continued support, we’re able to engage more volunteers and keep our island shores clean, safe, and beautiful for everyone.
Harvey Cedars Sunset Slam
The Harvey Cedars Sunset Slam is a spirited kickball fundraiser that rallies the local community around fun and philanthropy. Hosted in beautiful Sunset Park, the event supports nonprofits like ALO, combining friendly competition with environmental awareness. Funds raised help power our conservation, education, and outreach programs across Long Beach Island. It’s a perfect example of how play and purpose can go hand in hand.
